Safety first, speed last

I’m being driven today by the world’s slowest/most cautious bus driver ever. Not only is he following the yellow means wait rule, he sits through an additional light for each red we hit. Arrrg….

Free bus ride today! Sure it’s because the bus was a bit broken. Regardless, it was free. Nice start to the day.

Another one takes the bus

Ozone alert day = half priced fares! Which is great for me as I didn’t get the monthly pass for July. It was nice to not hunt for parking, too. Maybe things in my life will start to find their rhythm again. The last two weeks have been way too filled with drama.

Vacation

So I was on vacation from work last week. Rather than taking the bus I spent most days in lawrence working on the house. Boy it was hot and way mire work than my bus/walk combo. This week will feature a return to Metro.

Today felt Augusty. So much sun, heat, humidity that at AC on the bus hadn’t cooled me down by the time I started walking again. Now that it’s after 9 I’m ready to walk. But I opted for the glorious ride home. Thank you Searses - watching dogs for strangers & a friendly chauffeur!
